A quick update for drivers using former Mer charging locations ⚡

As part of the move to Be.EV, chargers are currently being migrated onto the Be.EV network and updated in the background.

While this work is ongoing, some drivers may have trouble starting a charging session through the Mer app at locations now showing Be.EV signage.

If that happens, please download and use the Be.EV app instead to access the charger.

We’re also aware some drivers may notice temporary pending payments on their bank account after unsuccessful charging attempts. These are pre-authorisation checks and will be automatically released by your bank or card provider.

If you need support during this time, please contact [email protected].

Be.EV has officially acquired Mer’s UK public charging network 💚

This means, over the coming months, some of your familiar blue chargers will be getting a green makeover as Be.EV begins to rollout across charging locations – giving you more places to plug in, more choice when you need it, and one big green network behind the chargers you already use.

Along with the new colour comes access to their top rated network (voted by drivers), market leading 39p/kWh Mega subscription, and the UK’s longest off-peak window from 7pm–7am.
Right now though, it’s business as usual. If you charge with Be.EV already, or you’ve been using Mer (or still do), everything continues as normal. The Mer app will keep working and you can charge exactly as you always have.

Stay tuned for more updates, and follow Be.EV or download the app to stay in the loop.
