This addresses key environmental concerns and aligns with sustainability legislation within the fashion industry. Due to the advances in animation and Android & iPhone technology, the threedeemee team can generate advanced algorithms that allows individuals (customers) to create 3D avatars of themselves. This will be achieved using a smart phone app that enables a person to create an avatar of themselves at a fraction of the cost in just a few minutes compared to what traditionally took at least one day using expensive 3D scanning cameras. Once the avatar is created it will be used in a retailer’s (clients) online website where the customer will have the ability to try on clothes. This will enable customers to see themselves dressed in their chosen apparel as an avatar ‘in their own image’. Specifically, the intent is to match the avatar in the customers own image, with their exact physical dimensions, per the retailers manufactured garment size. Customers can share their dressed avatars with family and friends using existing social media platforms such as; Line, WhatsApp, to gain feedback from family and friends before purchasing garments.
