Our project Buntingford School is featured on BBC News about its carbon design and KLH® - CLT performance during the recent hot weather here in the UK. KLH UK is very proud to have played their part in this success. Providing the full design & installation of the cross laminated timber structural frame, and exceeding the performance required by the Passivhaus criteria, along with the sequestration of circa 140t of carbon.

If only every new school could be like this !!

Whitby Wood Networking Bike Ride 6 May 2026
London to Brighton off road route 128km

Meet up for the ride was at Roehampton Gate café in Richmond Park. After introductions, there were a couple of early stories about Mountain Rescues people had been in, after that we put our minds into the slightly less risky task at hand.
We were away at about 9am with the destination of Brighton Station (for most) many hours away. In dappled sunshine through the woods, commons and golf clubs of South West London and Surrey, we winded our way down to the lunch halfway point of Peaslake in the Surrey Hills.
Two puncture stops allowed some welcome rest before we made it to the village shop. After a KLH UK rider swap (Aaron left and Nic started) the group headed up yet another decent hill towards the Downs Link Way. Once on the Link Way the smooth path allowed decent speed, with the kms ticking over. The route called for the challenging ‘hard’ way up the South Downs Way path to Devils D**e then down to Brighton. Heart rates were elevated for all on this part, but the finish was within reach the group was soon on the train back home at 5.30 (apart from Chris, who cycled home to Kew from Devils D**e!!).
