A fantastic evening at this year’s Larry Hench Lecture!

Dr. Daniela Carta delivered an insightful talk on in-solution strategies for manufacturing phosphate-based glasses for biomedical applications.

From sol-gel processing to coacervation, it was inspiring to see how these innovative, low-temperature techniques can create bioresorbable materials for tissue regeneration and tackling infectious diseases.

Great to see so many early-career researchers and students contributing to the discussion.

A big thank you to Dr. Daniela Carta for a brilliant lecture and to Prof. Julian Jones for honouring Larry Hench’s legacy. A truly engaging and inspiring evening!
