Had a chance to chop it with David Miklas, an Attorney that practices Employment Law. We were Concurrent Speakers 🗣️ at the HR conference last week. I learned way more about the law in the hour he spoke then the 10 years I’ve had my attorney on retainer.

We kept in touch since and he shared an interesting article he wrote about AI trampling all over religious rights at the workplace. 🫣🙏🏼. I smell 👃 law suits coming.

Some of y’all paid for Copilot or ChatGPT just to use it for spellcheck. Meanwhile, other people are using it to replace 6 hours of administrative suffering before lunch.😕

One group is asking AI to fix commas. The other is asking it to build decks, summarize meetings, analyze data, write strategy, and give them their life back. Let's do better.

AI can learn all of it… just from what you post. Or whatever you’re doing in the moment. Every photo. Every video. Every story. You’re training it…whether you realize it or not.

And once it learns you… it doesn’t need you.

Don’t panic. Just be aware. Here’s a simple AI safety playbook 👇

• Think before you post; nothing is temporary
• Skip real-time location tags
• Be mindful with voice notes and videos
• Add small watermarks or text to your content

Oracle didn’t lay off 30,000 this week people because AI replaced them. They did it because the game changed.

Here’s the truth most won’t say: people aren’t being cut because they lack value. They’re being cut because they’re not positioned where decisions are being made. And while they’re crashing people lives with one email received at 6am, at the same time they had the highest application request for immigrant workers under the H-B1 visa program. 👀😒

So wake up.

Your job is not security. One income stream is not a strategy. Loyalty is not protection. Adapt or get caught in it. Where are your side hustles?

This is not shocking.

This is the new model.

As thousands of Oracle employees awoke on Tuesday to an email informing they were caught up in mass layoffs, they likely didn’t know the tech company had been busy trying to employ foreign workers.…
