This is an OCHSNER AIR HAWK 208, installed on a balcony directly beside a bedroom window.

That only works because the AIR HAWK 208 is engineered to be genuinely quiet, not “quiet for a heat pump,” but quiet, full stop.

28 dB is quieter than a whisper !

Conservation area restrictions rule out half the units on the market before you’ve even started. Add a tight bedroom balcony footprint, and most installers would tell you it can’t be done.

Decarbonisation for the next 500 years

The original plan? Dig up Trinity’s famous lawns for ground source heat pumps.

Our answer? You don’t have to.

The OCHSNER Air Hawk 1850 is one of our powerful enough air source heat pumps. Perfect for large heritage buildings and estates. Quiet enough to sit beside Grade 1-listed buildings - just 39.7 bB sound pressure level. 40kW machine. They did their own study for us before it was installed and the gardeners were very happy it was quieter than a beehive!

The noise level of a quiet library so the go ahead was given to get one installed next to Trinity’s historic halls and libraries - lawns remain untouched.

Now more OCHSNER units are being installed this year as Trinity works towards net zero before 2050. Removing gas across its estate while protecting the buildings that make Cambridge, Cambridge.

This OCHSNER ad ran in the 1980’s

A hand cuffed man to an oil drum, and a simple message: stop chaining yourself to fossil fuels.

This message couldn’t resonate more today.

Karl Ochsner Senior was saying it decades before it was fashionable. Nearly 50 years later, we’re still saying it.

We don’t need fossil fuels

SPEECHLESS

When you finally understand heat pumps can do heating, hot water and cooling all from the same machine, it doesn’t kill the planet to run and can be combined with solar and battery storage so you’re in credit with your electricity provider………

A word of thanks to the whole Norfolk Super Hero Team

Everyone volunteers their time and it takes months of dedication to organise such an epic day.

Team OCHSNER loved taking part but what really blew us away was the energy of the Pink Ladies (and gentlemen) from feeding all those people with delicious meals to spraying water and throwing jelly babies. And of course the clean up afterwards.

That’s why teams come back year after year to put themselves through this gruelling endeavour. As a family run business we wanted to support this, there are lots of teams that are multi generational taking part. It’s something very special to be part of.

Last night we attended the first founding members event By Milestone

It was amazing to meet the other new stand holders, talk about exciting projects that we could all contribute and collaborate with.

Some fantastic talks and of course cheese & wine, with great tasting notes. The space is made for entertaining and connecting.

My first speed dating experience 👌🤩😘

If only we could have stayed longer !
