We did it!!! 🤩

🎉 On 30 September we closed our first Share Offer having reached our target of £106,500!

☀️ The 274 solar panels at Jack Tizard School now belong to all of us who invested. They are officially a community asset, generating clean and cheap electricity for the school and a modest annual profit to be shared between the owners (shareholders) and community projects. 

🙏 Massive thanks to all of you who invested in this! You are now members of the H&F Community Energy co-operative - and will have voting rights over the co-op’s future plans, including how to invest our community fund when we accumulate one.

🥂 We’ll be hosting a celebratory event shortly for all our new members so keep an eye out and we look forward to meeting you and raising a glass!

We're absolutely delighted that we've already raised £71,000 from 79 incredible investors - but with our £106,500 target now clearly in sight, we've made the exciting decision to extend our share offer deadline from September 1st to September 30th, 2025.

This gives our community even more time to get involved in supporting our transformative first project at Jack Tizard School.
