Every successful ground screw installation starts long before the first screw goes into the ground 👏🏼

The set out is one of the most important stages of the job. On this job, we began by locating the corners, then mark out the perimeter before creating a full grid of string lines. This ensured every ground screw was installed in exactly the right position.

One detail many people don’t realise is that we measure from the centre of each ground screw. As the screw heads are 200mm wide, we always deduct 100mm from our measurements to position them accurately.

Taking the time to get the set out right means the steel frame or structure above fits exactly as designed, avoiding costly issues later in the build.

Precision at the start leads to a smoother installation from beginning to end.
