BMW 320d

This one came in to us from another garage

After they fitted a second hand DSC Module they were struggling to code it in and had a list of dtc code in the ECU and the DSC

So we linked it up online and saw that it was not on the latest software version
Once we downloaded the latest software version we programmed it and now everything is working perfectly with zero codes

Seat Ateca

DSG gearbox bearings very noisy and mechatronics actuator 1 stuck

We provided a second hand gearbox with mechatronics

As people know these are not just a simple gearbox swap where you can plug and play. We extract the eeprom data and flash data then rewrite the data to the second hand gearbox

The customer is now happy as we have saved them a lot of money compared to the quote they had off the local automatic gearbox specialist

So a customer came to us with a cylinder head with a glow plug seized and they snapped it trying to get it out them self

We spent the time to soak it first then use our new glow plug extractor

It took a few goes as it kept snapping but we dint give up and eventually got it to move

The 2.8 24V VR6 engine
Stripped and cleaned
Block sanded flat and checked for cracks
Head skimmed and pressure tested
New valve stem seals
Valve seats cut and lapped in
New head gasket
New head bolts
New cam dephasers
Every nut and bolt torqued to manufactures specs

Tomorrow full chain kit to go on plus timing covers and sump with every gasket around the engine replaced

So lady’s and gents
We have had to shut the garage this afternoon due to health and safety for the staff as we have recorded 43 degrees inside the garage
And even though we have cold water to hydrate these are not conditions to work in for me never mind my staff so we have decided to go the pub sorry for any inconvenience we will be back open tomorrow morning 🍻

So we making the the new launch x prog 3 work today with it’s second job of the day on to ECU Cloning this time

• Read and backup of the flash data
• Read and backup of the eeprom data

Second hand ECU supplied

•Rewrite flash data
•Rewrite eeprom data

Happy customer as there vehicle is now running how it should be again

So this morning we have finally got the x prog 3 up and running with help of the launch team and another local business

• We have started on one of our own vehicles we have cut the new key blade
•we deleted all the keys to start fresh
•programmed the original key and an additional key

All done successfully
