While undertaking other work at a customer’s property, the customer observed that the smoke alarm was dripping water. On further inspection, I identified that the alarm was located directly beneath the bathroom. After removing the bath panel, I discovered a leak from the waste connection.

I immediately gathered the necessary materials and carried out the repair, ensuring the system was left fully watertight. The customer was very satisfied with the outcome.
