5️⃣ days to go! Ben is running the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run this Sunday, 31st May 2026 to support The Stroke Association. 🏃‍♂️ Ben’s been training hard for this 10K, even in the heatwave and the hottest weekend!

The condition has had an impact on Ben’s family members, so he is running the 10K in Manchester for a cause very close to his heart.

RIIO-3 explained: what it means for UK energy networks and your business bills 🚨

RIIO-3 is Ofgem’s latest 5-year regulatory framework for electricity transmission, gas transmission and gas distribution—running from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2031.

It sets:
• the revenues network operators can earn
• the outputs they must deliver
• and how returns should be calibrated so consumers are protected

So, what does that mean for business energy costs?
While some investment may feel like it could add pressure in the short term, Ofgem’s goal is bigger than today’s figures: timely, efficient infrastructure spending should help improve reliability, security of supply and support the energy transition—aiming for lower whole-system costs over time.
