Everyone complains about British weather, it's too hot 🥵, it's too cold 🥶, its always raining ⛈️.

We have all done it.

But the impact on the construction industry doesn’t just stop us working outside in the heat or rain, it can cause problems with sensitive or unseasoned materials like wood, plastics, and fabrics that cannot tolerate high or low temperatures.

-Heavy rainfall can cause flooding in construction sites.

-High temperatures can be just as bad – the health and safety of workers are at risk due to the increased chance of dehydration or sunstroke.

-High winds lead to damage and deterioration of objects in the surrounding area, including buildings and trees

Transforming history into modern luxury!

At Vaughandale Construction, we completed the conversion of 18th-century barns into stunning luxury homes at Park Hall. This restoration project involved everything from complex stonemasonry to bespoke interiors, blending old-world charm with modern comfort. 🏡✨

We tackled challenges like working on a dilapidated agricultural building, navigating planning regulations, and ensuring top-tier finishes throughout. The result? Two four-bedroom and one three-bedroom homes, featuring underfloor heating, bespoke kitchens, and energy-efficient systems.
