A quick cabin relocation in our in our home March, Cambridgeshire.

A swift and easy job for Stuart Cranes & Plant operator Samantha utilising our Liebherr LTM1050. Obviously the weight was of little consequence but great care must be taken not to damage any nearby buildings.

All in a few hours work for our highly experienced team.

Will headed out early to King’s Lynn today to collect the mighty Merlo, along with a diesel bun and cage.

The Merlo is heading straight back to SC&P HQ where our engineer, Jay, will give it a full check over. Judging by current demand, it won’t be hanging around for long, likely heading straight out to another site soon after.

Telehandlers like the Merlo are always in demand, their versatility makes them essential on almost any site.

Steel Beam Deliveries, Weight Limits & Load Distribution.

Will has been shipping urgent large steel beams to site over the past couple of days. While our Scania and trailer setups have an overall legal weight limit of 44 tonnes, we rarely load more than 20 tonnes of steel unless absolutely necessary.

It’s important to remember that compliance isn’t just about staying under the total weight limit. Load distribution per axle is equally critical. Even a relatively light load such as 10 tonnes can cause an axle to be overweight if not properly balanced across the vehicle.

Proper loading protects our drivers, vehicles, trailers and our ability to stay compliant with transport regulations ensuring we stay safe and efficient.

Ivan delivers a substantial load of pressed steel for GL Profiles!

Although the profiles consist of relatively delicate steel sheets, their cumulative weight makes for a heavy trailer load.

Special care is taken in securing the cargo ensuring it's tightly strapped down without causing any damage to the material. A balance of safety with protection of the product is essential throughout the transport process.

Will has successfully removed the third and last tank from the Boston site.

These were significant, bulky pieces of equipment but thanks to our talented team and top notch machinery, the job was completed smoothly in just a couple of days.

Huge thanks to everyone involved. Your hard work, skill, and teamwork made what could have been a tough challenge look like a walk in the park. Incredible effort!

I never speak too soon as theres still more phases to this build such as roofing materials and cladding which we may be called into action for.

Ivan makes an early start beating the traffic to our site in Grays this morning.

With every fresh delivery of steel this site takes another giant leap forward. The sites progress dictates the pace of deliveries and the guys building this structure are extremely efficient and making blazing progress!!

A full contract lift including collection and delivery of an enormous tank! Mission accomplished!!

Our trusted Stuart Cranes & Plant low loader handled the transport with ease, while the Liebherr LTM1060 proved its worth once again, lifting the tank into place with delicate precision.
