Another HRH Renovations project finished and handed over 🙌

We’ve loved transforming and expanding the space at Active Clinics in Maidenhead, creating fresh new treatment rooms and giving the clinic a complete upgrade.

Works included:
• New treatment rooms
• New cloakrooms
• Electrical works
• Plastering & decorating
• New internal doors
• New flooring throughout
• Bespoke shelving
• Bespoke storage cupboards

A huge team effort from start to finish, working around a busy clinic to keep disruption to a minimum.

Another late shift for me tonight… although I’ve finally called it a night and left the rest of the team on site working through to bring this project to a close! 🙌

Tonight’s jobs include decorating, fitting bespoke storage units to cleverly house the air-conditioning units, and installing bespoke shelving ready to display the clinic’s products.

It’s been a huge team effort, with plenty of late nights to keep the clinic operational throughout — but we are very nearly there. 💪✨

Teamwork really does make the dream work! Another late night at the clinic job, with the whole team pulling together to get this one over the line.

If all goes to plan, by Saturday morning we’ll be completely finished — on track, on time and on budget. 🙌🏼

Long day on site decorating this clinic and I’ve literally just walked through the door at 11.30pm! 😴

No one can say the boss doesn’t graft 😂💪

Another big push today and it’s really starting to come together. Sometimes running HRH means swapping the laptop for a paintbrush and getting stuck in with the team! 🖌️✨

Clinic renovation update 🛠️

A huge effort from the team on this one.

We worked through the nights initially to allow the clinic to remain open and continue treating clients with as little disruption as possible. We then had just one week to tackle the next phase of works.

The cloakrooms were completely stripped out, the existing flooring was uplifted and, once exposed, it became clear the subfloor had been very poorly laid previously. A huge amount of preparation and remedial work was needed before we could finally install the new LVT flooring throughout.

We’ve also fitted new doors throughout and given the reception area a fresh lick of paint, bringing everything together and giving the clinic a much cleaner, fresher finish.

A lot of work behind the scenes, but a great transformation taking shape. 🙌

Following on from our previous post, the bespoke alcove storage is really starting to take shape.

Built to make the most of every inch of the space, the team are creating practical storage that will look completely at home once finished.

Still a little way to go, but we love seeing a design come together from the initial idea through to the final details. 👌

🏗️ CLINIC RENOVATION – PROGRESS UPDATE 🏗️

The clinic project continues and this one is certainly keeping the HRH team busy!

Once we started stripping things back, we uncovered subfloors that had previously been completely bodged, so a big part of the job has been putting right what should have been done properly in the first place. Not always the glamorous part of a renovation, but absolutely essential to get the foundations right before moving forward.

✅ Subfloors being repaired and levelled
✅ Plastering now completed
✅ Internal doors being changed
✅ Existing cloakroom ripped out ready for its transformation
✅ New treatment spaces continuing to take shape

Plenty still to do, but some really good progress being made — and all while working around the clinic so they can continue looking after their clients.

Sometimes renovation is as much about fixing what you can’t see as transforming what you can. 👷‍♂️🔨

From plain walls to a hallway with serious character 🤍

Our bespoke wall panelling is now complete, transforming the hallway and stairwell and adding depth, detail and a beautiful timeless finish.

It’s amazing what a difference panelling can make — turning an ordinary space into a real feature of the home. Can't wait to see this once the client has added a lick of paint 🎨

🌙 Another night shift complete!

Our team has been hard at work overnight as we continue transforming this expanding physiotherapy clinic while helping them stay open for their clients.

A great milestone reached tonight as the carpenters completed all of the acoustic soundboarding. Watching the grey boards disappear and every room become fully enclosed is always a satisfying moment—it really starts to feel like a building rather than a construction site.

It’s all about careful planning, teamwork and working around our client’s business so they can continue looking after theirs.

One more step closer to the finished result… and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.
