🌱 Supporting Outdoor Play at Chirbury CE Primary School 🌱

We're proud to have donated timber to support Chirbury CE Primary School / Shropshire Hills Federation with the continued development of their OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) provision.

Working alongside JTDS Architecture, who kindly donated a selection of gardening equipment, including spades, trowels, watering cans and gloves, we're pleased to be helping the school create exciting new outdoor play opportunities for its pupils.

Our timber will be used to build a variety of imaginative play features. These new additions will provide children with more opportunities for creative, hands-on and active play, while helping to develop important skills such as problem-solving, teamwork and imagination.

At Lowfield Timber Frames, we're passionate about supporting our local communities, and it's fantastic to know our timber will play a part in creating an inspiring outdoor environment where children can learn, explore and have fun.

We look forward to seeing the finished play spaces come to life!

We are incredibly proud to announce that we have been named Subcontractor of the Year for the North West Region at the Castle Green Homes Supply Chain Conference.

This award recognises the hard work, dedication and commitment shown by our entire team over the past 18 months, during which we have successfully delivered 450 plots across multiple developments with Castle Green Homes.

During the award presentation, Peter Wilkinson, Head of Commercial, commented:

“They are a growing company just like ourselves with a great team behind them. They have been fundamental to the success our division has had in the last financial year and we look forward to working with them in the future.”

As part of the celebrations, Castle Green Homes has generously donated £500 to each winner’s charity of choice, and we are delighted that this money will be going to the Lingen Davies Cancer Support, supporting the incredible work they do for local cancer services.

What a journey the last 18 months has been. Congratulations to all the other winners.

💚 Mental Health Awareness Week | 11th – 15th May 💚

At Lowfield Timber Frames, we are proud to have supported Ponthafren over a number of years, helping to raise vital funds to aid the amazing work they do.

Ponthafren’s aim is “to provide a caring community, offering support to those in need and to promote positive mental health and well-being for all.” Their work continues to make a real difference to individuals and communities alike.

We are also committed to supporting the wellbeing of our own employees through trained Mental Health First Aiders within our workplace, helping to ensure support is always available when it’s needed most.

Mental health matters every day, and it’s important to remember that help and support are available. Useful resources include:

What a day we had on Friday!

Team members from Lowfield Timber Frames and SJ Roberts Construction Ltd participated in a 12 hour Spin-a-thon in aid of The Lingen Davies Cancer Support. We raised an incredible £1584.37, which has been generously match funded by Telford & Wrekin Council, taking the total to £3168.74 🌻

Over the 12 hours, two bikes cycled an incredible 444.58 miles.

Thank you to the Flash Leisure Centre and Welshpool Tesco for making it happen! 👏 Thank you to everyone who took part and donated!
