Our bread and butter is to produce modular aluminium systems for exhibitions and events, graphic display and retail display furniture and equipment. Indeed, people have trusted us with their designs for impressive exhibition stands, elegant graphic display systems, and functional, sleek retail display equipment and merchandising units for 20 years – so we must be doing something right. But we’re a

lways keen to keep looking ahead and, as we mentioned earlier, there’s always a new challenge and a new design we’re asked to bring to life. We see our role as providing the guile, engineering and energy to help our clients realise their vision and make the most of their designs. That’s why we pour a lot of care, attention and appreciation of design into everything we do. This takes innovation in constantly developing new products to keep the Unibox offer fresh and functional. It means giving useful advice and opinions. And being honest about what’s possible, what might be possible and what we’re pretty sure isn’t possible. It takes a good eye for aesthetics to do justice to our clients’ designs. It involves being an understanding partner to help create interesting new products and find new solutions. It means being thorough and seeing every single part of the process through to the very last detail. And it requires applying an environmental awareness to offer lightweight, efficient, durable solutions (as well as retaining our engineering right here in the UK). Basically, it all comes down to a keen eye, a good ear and some sharp thinking.

Unibox × The Cut & Craft Manchester ✨🍴

For The Cut & Craft, we worked closely with Studio Two and Mistry Lighting to design and deliver a collection of bespoke illuminated features that help define the venue’s atmosphere, including:

- An illuminated bar top and sink, combining function with visual impact.
- Backlit tables that act as subtle focal points across the space.
- A statement bar front, created using curved LGPs for smooth, even illumination.

To add depth and texture, fluted vinyl was applied to blue glass panels, bringing an extra layer of detail to the finished look.

The result is a space that feels as good as it looks, where lighting enhances every material and surface from the bar through to the dining areas.

✨🐠 Project Spotlight: Illuminated Flooring & Bar for Sexy Fish - Miami

Unibox was proud to support the refurbishment of Sexy Fish Miami with bespoke illuminated flooring and bar features, manufactured using our Light Guide Panel technology.

This project highlights how Light Guide Panels can be applied across multiple architectural elements within hospitality environments, delivering consistency, performance, and visual impact.

This also marks our fourth Sexy Fish installation globally, a fantastic achievement and a credit to everyone involved 👏

✨ Illuminated Entrance Feature for Skechers | Edinburgh ✨

For the entrance of the Skechers store in Edinburgh, Unibox manufactured five bespoke light guide panels, paired with custom mild steel perforated panels designed to echo the Skechers ‘S’ and a running track motif.

Finished with a neon flex border and controlled via a DMX system, the illuminated entrance archway delivers dynamic lighting effects that create a bold, high-impact gateway into the store, reinforcing brand identity and elevating the customer journey from the very first step inside.

🚗 Unibox X Vyra X Goodwood Festival of Speed

We were proud to support Vyra at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, supplying a range of lightboxes.

Thousands gathered to celebrate automotive excellence this summer, and we were pleased to play a behind-the-scenes role in bringing their vision to life.

Working with the Vyra team was a pleasure. Highly organised and incredibly easy to collaborate with, together we delivered a striking setup featuring:

✨ Ledge 100 lightboxes mounted on the ceilings
✨ Ledge 65 lightboxes installed on the walls
✨ All supporting graphics
✨ Full end-to-end installation by the Unibox team
