Property in union street getting a facelift

With water pouring in through the walls causing damp through the property all perished stone was picked back and faced up alongside all the joints of the stonework being repointed and finally sealed with Thompson water seal to completely seal the face of the entire flats stonework

Chimney knocked down, rebuilt and gable end reharled with copings replaced in Montrose

Chimney was completely gone , leaning onto the roof it wouldn’t of lasted another year before it collapsed.

Another chimney tackled today in Brechin 🙌🏻

Thank god for the shift in the weather. Clients had water pouring in from this chimney due to the cement work being near destroyed by vegetation

First time using high drive but will 100% be using this machine again in the future to save the cost of scaffold and permits from the council

Remember to check your chimneys 🧐

3.5 ton of brick taken off this chimney today to make it safe for the soon to be father of the property. Job still in process to be finished.

Towering high and leaning over the roof with the main bedroom below this was a danger in these weather conditions we are getting not to mention the leaks internally being caused due to this.

Safe and water tight now ✅

Another town job completed today ✅

Previous 4inch wall was falling over so was knocked down and replaced with this 6” block wall with expansion which the previous wall didn’t and which was part of the reason of the wall coming down due to the cracks through the wall.

Access to this job was a nightmare! Round neighbours house , up 2 sets of stairs and then into clients garden. Removing the wall and loading out new blocks was a tough day , hard graft for me and the 2 labourers that day

At the front of the house previously just gravel that was bad for flooding and holding water , new slabs laid with a good ramp to allow water to flow away from the house as well as holes drilled through existing wall again to allow water to flow out of the front garden
