Red diesel fuel duty is set to fall by more than a third from 15th June.

The temporary change will see duty reduced from 10.18p per litre to 6.48p per litre until the end of December, offering some welcome support for farms and businesses that rely on red diesel.

The reduction will be automatically applied at the point of ordering making the transition seamless for all eligible users.

Police Scotland is reporting an increase in fuel theft across rural communities in Argyll & Bute and West Dunbartonshire.

Heating oil tanks, fuel bowsers, plant machinery and commercial fuel storage are all being targeted, with some incidents causing damage, disruption and costly repairs beyond the value of the stolen fuel itself.

If you see any suspicious activity, Police Scotland is encouraging homes and businesses to reach out as soon as possible

It's now been four months since we opened our Dumfries depot, and what a start it has been.

Since opening, our focus has been about more than simply supplying fuel. We've worked hard to build strong relationships, support businesses across the area and create opportunities within the community.

18 months ago, Oilfast made the move into fuel retail and opened our first petrol station on the A94 in Balbeggie.

Thanks to the continued support from the local community and customers travelling through the area, we’re excited to announce the opening of our second petrol station on the A93 in Guildtown!

The new site includes:
⛽ 24/7 opening
⚡ Fast-fill contactless pumps
🚗 Super unleaded available

🧼 Jet wash and air/water facilities
