There’s something special about scaffolding a building like this.
Behind all the tubes, boards and guardrails is a piece of local history and our job is to give the contractors the safe, reliable access they need to bring it back to its best.
A tall, historic structure like this comes with plenty of challenges:
🔹 Working at height - safe access to the masonry, clock faces and flagpole.
🔹 Complex architecture - designing around corners, projections, windows and changing levels.
🔹 Public spaces - protecting pedestrians and the surrounding area.
🔹 Material access - giving trades the space they need to work efficiently.
🔹 Landmark buildings - providing access while respecting the character and fabric of the building.
🔹 Wind and exposure - increasingly important several storeys up.
Most importantly, the scaffold needs to work for the people using it!
Whether it’s a tricky roofline, tight site, listed building or restricted pedestrian access, that’s where good scaffolding planning earns its keep.
We’re proud to play our part behind the scenes, providing the access that allows skilled trades to do what they do best.
