Due to continued growth, LDA Group is looking for an experienced General Builder to join our friendly and hardworking team.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and has strong experience in residential renovations and refurbishments. Kitchen and bathroom fitting experience is highly desirable, as these form a significant part of our workload.

What you'll be doing:

✔️ General building works and structural alterations
✔️ Property renovations, refurbishments and extensions
✔️ Kitchen installations – units, worktops, appliances and finishing works
✔️ Bathroom installations – sanitary ware, tiling, shower enclosures and full renovations
✔️ Basic carpentry, plastering, roofing and general maintenance
✔️ Working from drawings and specifications
✔️ Delivering high-quality workmanship with excellent customer service

What we're looking for:

✅ Proven experience as a General Builder
✅ Strong kitchen and bathroom fitting experience
✅ Good knowledge of construction methods and building regulations
✅ Reliable, professional and able to work independently
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
✅ Commitment to health & safety

Desirable:

• Plumbing and multi-trade experience
• CSCS Card
• Experience managing small projects from start to finish

LDA Group was appointed to manage and install the complete showroom refit for InHouse Inspired Room Design in Hexham, transforming the space into a stunning showroom that perfectly reflects the quality and luxury of their products.

From project management through to installation, our team worked closely with the client to deliver a high-quality finish that showcases premium German kitchens, luxury bathrooms and Italian bedroom furniture.

We are currently seeking to hire a Multi-skilled Tradesperson with particular skills of painting and decorating to join the Planned and Reactive Maintenance division of our company.

You’ll be comfortable working across different trades using all your skills under one roof in domestic and commercial properties across the northeast supporting our Planned and Reactive Maintenance division to complete jobs in a timely and professional manner.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with upwards of 2 years multi-skilled experience to join our growing Newcastle upon Tyne based company.

➡ Responsibilities:

Use Mobile Phone based IT system to review and update allocated jobs
Be professional, deliver and care about colleagues, customers and partners
Be loyal and punctual
Listen to and communicate with customers

➡ Skills & Experience:

Experience in domestic property maintenance is essential.
Experience in painting and decorating is essential.

Work has now commenced on the transformation of an old vicarage, bringing new life to a character-filled property with plenty of potential.
