Early morning contact crane lift to position 2 Daikin air handling units onto the roof of the new Palais nightclub in Peckham, South London. We’re providing the full HVAC package to the club on Rye Lane which includes a 500 capacity basement club and 1st floor cocktail bar.

Over the last couple of years, we’ve gone through somewhat of a transformation at Trident. As the name suggests we’re a HVAC contractor and have completed work from Scotland down to the south coast for many clients. However, we now undertake main contractor works for some select end user clients throughout the uk. Due to this expansion and with an order book extending into summer 2025, we are planning to recruit a Sales / Business Development and Project Manager in the near future to maintain the progress we’ve recently made. We certainly don’t intend on leaving our HVAC routes but the opportunity to build our portfolio with end users is an exciting prospect. Who doesn’t love a crane lift? The first 2 of 12 Mitsubushi heat pump outdoors lifted into position on a sun drenched roof top at Oxford’s Churchill Hospital on behalf of our client Orange 22. These will ultimately provide heating and cooling to the CT scanner suites which are currently being refurbished.

Well that's a wrap for 2023... a year where we became so much more than just an air conditioning contractor. Nothing left now other than to thank all of our clients, suppliers and colleagues for their continued support and hard work over the last 12 months. As in recent years, we've decided against dropping off mediocre bottles of plonk to you lovely customers and have used the money on a far more worthy cause by making a donation to the Peoples Kitchen in Newcastle.

It’s taken longer than we originally thought (who would have thought that construction projects run over program..?!) but we’re finally fitting out our new head office in Newcastle.

Located in the shadow of the iconic grade II listed cone of the old Lemington glass works, our new home will provide us with the capacity to grow our HVAC and contracting services which have already expanded over the last 18 months.

Fit out should be complete before the Christmas break with the move complete for a new year opening.

We’re known as an air conditioning contractor, but we’re collecting more strings to our bows… we’re currently in the middle of installing a water treatment system for one of our long standing clients within an exclusive private hospital in central London. Towns water will be filtered, softened and Dechlorinated before being fed to RO (Reverse osmosis) units to provide renal dialysis treatment to patients. The last year has seen us expand our operations within the healthcare sector including the fit out of a new 22 bed dialysis unit in Wolverhampton which we completed in 12 short weeks either side of Christmas 2022.

We’ve been tasked by a very good client of ours to spruce up some of their sites in the north east (we look after their air conditioning and ventilation systems as well as new works nationwide). Are there any painters & decorators out there who are interested? Works will include the making good of wall surfaces before painting in the companies approved colour scheme 2/3 coats. Sites in the north east aren’t huge, probably no more than 2-300m2 each. There’s also possible work further afield for any interested contractors.
