Boating News - Reedham Swing Bridge

Network Rail have informed the Authority that engineers will be attending tomorrow 16 June to investigate the issue with Reedham Swing Bridge.

The Authority has stressed the importance of unobstructed navigation to Network Rail and the urgent need to resolve the issue. We will provide updates as they are received.

Urgent Boating News – Navigation closure at Beccles Old Bridge due to emergency repair works

Notice is hereby given that emergency repair works will take place at Beccles Old Bridge on the River Waveney. The works are due to take place from Thursday 11 June through to Friday 12 June 2026.

Note: During the above period, navigation under the bridge will be CLOSED to all vessels between the times of 10am and 4pm each day.
