🏔️ This September, Mark Brierley will be taking on the incredible 10 Peaks Challenge to raise funds for two fantastic causes: The Christie Charity and grassroots cricket at Glossop Cricket Club.

The funds raised from Mark’s challenge will be split 50/50 between The Christie Charity and Glossop Cricket Club, helping to support vital cancer care and research while also investing in the future of local cricket.

At Glossop Cricket Club, funds raised will help the club invest in:

🏏 Coaching and player development
🏏 New training equipment
🏏 Replacement bowling machine provision
🏏 Additional wicket capacity
🏏 Grounds equipment to maintain and improve our facilities

With participation continuing to grow, these investments will help ensure that current and future players have the best possible environment to enjoy, develop and succeed in cricket.

🚧 New Project Started – Werneth Primary School Phase 2 Extension 🏫

We’re delighted to announce the start of Phase 2 extension works at Werneth Primary School.

This project will create valuable new space and enhanced facilities for the school, helping to support pupils and staff for years to come. The works include demolition and strip-out activities, external drainage, excavation, and the construction of new foundations and substructure works. As the project progresses, we will be delivering the new extension structure, including external walls, waterproofing, structural elements, roofing, windows, doors, and internal partitions.

The internal fit-out will include plastering, suspended ceilings, flooring, kitchen installations, mechanical and electrical services, and full decoration throughout. Externally, significant improvement works will also be carried out, including new fencing, gates, kerbs, artificial grass, barrier systems, and asphalt surfacing to create a safe and functional environment for the school community.

We are proud to be involved in another education project and look forward to delivering a high-quality extension that will provide lasting benefits for the school.

Throwback to a successful programme of works delivered across three college sites by one of our Contracts Managers 🏫🔧

Working alongside three site managers, the team successfully delivered all projects in time for the new academic term in September 📅✨

At Chester College, the business hub was fully refurbished, including glazed screens, an acoustic sliding wall, structural steelwork, doors, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and full decoration 🪟🧱🎨

Ellesmere Port College included the creation of new teaching bays, a new electrical and brickwork workshop, and a full refurbishment of first-floor classrooms. Works included new walls, ceilings, flooring, decoration, and upgraded services including lighting, data, fire systems, and air conditioning.

Crewe College saw a full refurbishment of multiple classrooms along with the installation of automated doors throughout the building 🚪🏗️

A great collaborative effort delivering high-quality, future-ready learning environments across all three sites 👏
