As we continue work on the refurbishment of the Hilton Garden Inn at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground, we were delighted to be invited by the Hilton team to take part in their recent Partners Cricket Day.

The event brought together a number of partners for a friendly cricket tournament, offering a great opportunity to catch up away from the project and strengthen relationships with the wider team. Antonia and Louise represented Dawnvale throughout the day, enjoying some competitive cricket, excellent hospitality and lunch with fellow attendees.

Congratulations to the mixed Lancashire Cricket partners team, who were crowned tournament winners.

It was a fantastic day spent with a valued client, and we're looking forward to completing the refurbishment in the coming weeks so Hilton can begin welcoming guests back once again.

We are on site at Hickory’s Peterborough.

Renowned for its Southern-style BBQ restaurants and neighbourhood bars, Hickory’s will bring its signature treatment to the former Mulberry Tree Farm in Hampton, transforming it into a completely unrecognisable venue once complete.

As part of the scheme, Dawnvale will be delivering another bespoke fast-track commercial kitchen, designed and built specifically to meet the demands of a busy smokehouse operation.

It won’t be long before locals are enjoying the great hospitality and smoky taste of the South.

Our work continues at the Etihad Stadium, where our focus is now firmly on bringing all the new hospitality spaces to life.

As the project continues to progress, more details are being revealed, and it’s clear this development goes beyond matchdays.

With its proximity to Co-op Live, the North Stands new Medlock Square area is being shaped as a year-round destination, designed to support major events as well as football.

From expansive social and activation spaces, through to premium dining concepts, every element is being built around how people use the space across the week, not just during the 90 minutes.

We’re proud to be playing our part in delivering these hospitality spaces as the project moves closer to completion!

Premier hospitality isn’t just for the Premier League.
Whilst rebuilding their stand Five years ago, Accrington Stanley saw a prime opportunity to completely rethink their matchday hospitality. They realised fans at all levels of football wanted options, whether that’s a traditional pie and a pint or a premium, high street restaurant-style experience.

Instead of just replacing what they had, they chose to invest in their stadium's future. They transform their setup from a single room serving 50 people into four state-of-the-art hospitality spaces serving hundreds.

With designs done by Space Invader and the full fit-out carried out by us. Then end result was new hospitality suites that elevated the matchday experience.

The knock-on effect for the club has been massive. Fans now arrive hours before kickoff and stay long after the final whistle. Ticket sales increased as a new demographic of families and corporate guests started booking out the spaces. The staff took a new level of pride in the new facilities, looking after them so well that they still look brand new today.

This project is a great example of how investment in hospitality can deliver long-term commercial value for football clubs. As demand for elevated fan experiences continues to grow, premium hospitality spaces are likely to become increasingly common at every level of the game.

We are on site at Hickory’s Gateshead.

The transformations that Hickory's carry out are always impressive, and this latest project is no different. With multiple teams working across the former Gold Medal pub, the building will be almost unrecognisable once complete.

The same transformation is taking place within the kitchen space, where our team is delivering another bespoke commercial kitchen, converting what was once a standard pub kitchen into a much larger restaurant kitchen designed around the demands of a busy smokehouse operation.

While many locals were sad to see the Gold Medal close after serving the community for so many years, there was also plenty of excitement surrounding Hickory’s arrival following the brand’s success in Thornaby.

It will not be long before Hickory’s opens its doors and brings its unique take on Southern hospitality to the people of Gateshead, Newcastle and beyond.

Ffarm Hotel bar fit-out complete.

Set within a Grade II listed building in the village of Betws-yn-Rhos, Ffarm Hall is Wales’ first 100% plant-based hotel. The client had a clear vision for a high-end aesthetic that respected the character of the building, and our role was to bring that to life through a fully operational bar that delivers on both design and performance.

Working closely with the client and main contractor, we helped deliver a bespoke bar designed to work seamlessly with their operation, while enhancing the overall look and feel of the space. Alongside this, we installed all fixed furniture and supplied loose furniture and fittings throughout.

The result is a beautifully considered space that complements the wider renovation, following the hotel’s opening on 5th May.

This marks another successful collaboration, continuing a strong relationship built over more than ten years and multiple projects.

We’re on site at Emirates Old Trafford.

While we’ve attended many events and matchdays at Lancashire Cricket Club over the years, this marks our first project at the ground, another great stadium to add to our ever-growing portfolio.

With continued investment into enhancing hospitality experiences and expanding its open-air event offering, it’s a venue that’s constantly evolving.

Our work will play a part in that journey as we begin the refurbishment of the Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford.

As we head into the summer season, a critical window for venues to overhaul their infrastructure while the festival circuit is in full swing, we’ve been looking back at our work across the Utilita Arena Birmingham hospitality transformation, delivered alongside our BP Pulse project for NEC.

Working with Jump Studios, part of Populous, we completed a fast-track seven-week fit-out while simultaneously delivering the BP Pulse scheme, transforming the entire top floor of the arena’s main hospitality offering.

The project created a series of connected premium environments designed to elevate the guest journey across the venue:

Acoustic Lounge – A premium hospitality space forming the heart of the offering, combining refined seating, a feature bar, and direct access to in-show experiences.

Frequency Deck – An exclusive viewing platform connected to the Acoustic Lounge, giving guests a seamless transition from dining to watching the live performance.

Electric Lounge – A large, dynamic hospitality area spanning most of the floor, anchored by multiple bars and designed for high-capacity, high-energy service.

Remaster Deck – A dedicated viewing space with its own bar, opening up the arena bowl and allowing guests to stay immersed in the show.

We also delivered the new reception areas, corridors, staircases, and VIP boxes, ensuring the entire floor worked as a single, connected hospitality journey.

This was a complex programme delivered under intense time pressures, but one that demonstrates how well-designed hospitality spaces can unlock significant commercial value while delivering a more considered guest experience.

As the football season nears its climax, the focus often shifts to the pitch, but for a club to grow, the work done off the pitch is just as vital.

Two years ago, we were gearing up for a monumental transformation at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park. Over an intense 12-week programme, we delivered a huge stadium upgrade of seven hospitality suites, kitchens, offices, and infrastructure, as well as assisting with the Fan Park.

The scale of the project required clever engineering and bold design to unlock new space:

Box 2 Box: A brand-new GA bar literally dug out from underneath the Main Stand.

The Boardroom (Now The Jewel): One of the stadium's most premium spaces, rebuilt with an open-plan layout and extended floor space made possible by the Box 2 Box excavation.

The Sponsors Lounge: A tech-filled, multi-use space perfect for conferences. The refurbishment included extended floor space to increase covers and revenue.

The Garrison: A full transformation into a Peaky Blinders-themed bar, leaning into local culture to create a firm fan favourite.

The Globe and Ball: Previously a small concession area, now extended to twice the size and featuring a self-serve 6-station beer wall and kiosk.

The 12 Suite: We removed ageing VIP boxes to create a stunning, modern open-plan lounge.

The City Suite: A private, refined bar in the Kop Stand, allowing VIP box holders a dedicated space to socialise and relax.

While Birmingham City have announced their ambitious plans for a new stadium, these premium spaces were designed to pay for themselves rapidly, generating the consistent revenue needed to fuel the club’s evolution in the interim.

Great hospitality isn't just about a luxury matchday; it’s a commercial engine that funds the future.
