It has been a busy 2 months. We have emptied and moved the workshop down to the barn, demolished the old workshop, set the foundations ready for building next week and knocked this little bit of work up in our spare time with some rather nice beasties and very satisfying latches. Its now ready for the galvanizers and we will start erecting the new workshop. Busy,busy.

I have never been so excited about concrete as I am just now. We poured the foundations yesterday for the new workshop and in a week we will start erecting the steelwork. The guys from Border Mix were excellent and got it all sorted very swiftly. Can't wait for next week.

Biffy did not disappoint last night, an amazing gig and a great night out thanks to my lovely wife. A bit of downtime was very much needed.

So demolition has started while trying to keep working on projects. Stan and Mack did a fine job today getting rid of the temporary shanty town extension thrown up 10 years ago for a big stair project. At last we are on the way to a new workshop. Exciting times ahead.

So this will be our workshop for the next couple of months as we demolish the old poultry sheds shanty town and build a lovely new space, doubling our workable floor space and one that I can actually fit a forklift in and have high roofs and insulation and space. SOOOO excited for it to actually happen. We will be without any 3 phase power here so will need to just pack up the power hammer, press and induction heaters and go old school for a bit but it will be worth it.

There is no turning back now, the new workshop is here, all 6 tonnes of it, and we will be starting to take down the old shanty town of wooden workshops over the next few weeks. SOOOOO excited to have a proper workshop space instead of 60 year old poultry sheds and aledged temporary buildings that went up 8 years ago and were only to get 1 job done honest.

An excellent team effort on this lovely gate and railing panels. Make it Mack did all the leaves and dished the bases of the thistles and we all did the rest. Lots of rivets and details. Thistles for the Scottish client and wild roses for his English wife. Will look amazing when the landscaping is complete.
