The difference here is insane 🤯 We’ve been using the shiny new bathroom now for a few weeks and it’s so lush! It’s crazy and humbling to remember that it wasn’t that long ago that nobody had ever had a hot shower and now it’s a convenience we all take for granted, being without a bathroom for a while really makes you appreciate having one, especially a nice one like this 😅💙

A lot of hard work went into this transformation, particularly because this isn’t my usual kind of work, I enjoyed the process but am equally grateful it’s over and appreciative of the fact I made lots of decisions throughout that made my life much harder 😅

I’d like to say a huge thank you to my Dad for all of his help with this as well as to Topps Tiles for all of their advice and for supplying all of the tiles, adhesives and grouts. To Lock Electrical Sw Ltd for the lights, fan and switches. It’s all turned out wonderfully and I couldn’t be happier! 💙

My bathroom at home was in desperate need of an overhaul and we’ve FINALLY done it!! 😅

Knocking the seperate toilet/bathroom into one has made such a difference it’s insane! It’s not a big room but it feels 10x the size of the original set up and is now far more comfortable to use! 😍

As it was my bathroom I thought I’d experiment and attempt to resin mitre the tile edges instead of using trims and I’m really pleased with the finished look, it’s so clean and minimalist ✨

There are still some finishing touches to do like swapping the window handles and trickle vents, painting the door frame and architraves but it’s functional and sealed and I can finally shower at home again 🛀

We completed all of the prep, plastering, plumbing, carpentry, tiling and flooring ourselves but I’d like to say a huge thank you to Lock Electrical Sw Ltd for sorting the lighting and Colin at Fineseal for the mastic 💙

Project Zephyr 🪵🪨

We’ve been so busy lately I never posted the photographs to from this composite decking project we completed, only the video 😅

This garden transformation is huge, it’s made the lower half actually usable for our client because they simple couldn’t do anything with it before, some raised planters so they can bring some life back to an otherwise super low maintenance space ✨

The difference between these clips is crazy, this garden is now absolutely stunning and ready to entertain 🥂

Artificial grass and porcelain paving creates the perfect low-maintenance outdoor space so our clients can spend less time working in the garden and more time enjoying the garden 🕺

Project Sunbeam #3 🩶✨

We’ve just wrapped up our 3rd project in this beautiful part of Sherford! We couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities and trust by our local community 💙

The client supplied the stunning outdoor porcelain from Porcelanosa and it’s safe to say weighing in at 41kg a tile they are the heaviest and densest porcelain tiles we’ve laid to date 😅💪 worth it though in our opinion because they are beautiful!

What we did ✨:

→ Built masonry raised planters and outdoor kitchen area ⚪️
→ Planted the Portuguese laurel pleached trees 🌳
→ Installed the St James artificial turf from Select Living Group😍
→ Laid the 900x900 porcelanosa tiles with contrasting charcoal brick edger
→ Made our own bullnosed steps for both sets of stairs
→ Pointed everything with the Steintec Tuff Joint

As usual thank you to all of our suppliers and big shout out to Bradfords Building Supplies (Plymouth) for sorting the vast majority for us 🤝

Before → After 😳 We’re very pleased with how this has turned out, it’s absolutely stunning 😍 A lot of hard work went into it, but it was definitely worth it!

The White porcelain slabs from Nustone are stunning as always 😍 we also made the copings ourselves from the slabs helping to tie the whole space together 😮‍💨

This garden makeover completely transforms this patio space from a crazy paved mess to a flawless white porcelain entertaining space ✨

Also our first time installing the Steintec tuff joint and it’s an absolute game changer 🤯

What we built:

→ concrete block garden wall, sand and cement rendered
→ white porcelain patio, steps and copings by Nustone
→ New channel drainage system and recessed manhole cover
→ key kerb edging to transition from cotswold cream stoned path/shed area
