We were called in to fix a major issue on this property: the original roof was installed at a pitch far too low for the tiles that were used. Using the wrong materials for the slope is a shortcut that leads to leaks and costly internal damage every time.
We’ve had to adapt and overcome by stripping it back and installing Planum low-pitch tiles. These are specifically engineered to stay watertight at lower angles, ensuring this home is finally protected properly.
We aren’t finished yet, but we are in the home stretch and soon to finish! 🏁🏠

Even on a 10-year-old home, poor original construction can lead to big headaches. On this project, the fiberglass dormer was failing because the original lead work had zero support—it was literally pulling away from the structure, leaving the home wide open to leaks. 🌧️❌

Out with the old, in with the new! 🛠️
We recently tackled this property in Hampden Park where the original cast iron guttering and timber fascias had definitely seen better days. Over time, timber can rot and cast iron becomes prone to leaks and rust, leading to potential water damage.

Time for a little update!
We’ve spent a lot of this year putting right work that, unfortunately, hasn’t been done to a good standard.

It’s never easy watching customers pay out twice. In the new year, we’ll be here to put things right and fix that poor workmanship!

On a more positive note,
Times have been challenging for everyone, and while we’re feeling the pinch too, we wanted to give something back. This year we’ve donated all our scrap-lead money to Warming Up The Homeless to help support vulnerable people in our local community.

Please bear with us as we work through the bad weather and a long list of repairs — we’re doing everything we can to make sure no one is worrying about their property while trying to enjoy their well deserved Christmas break.

Work over the last few weeks!
Eave support trays help the water flow stay in the gutters and stop the fascia rotting and damp inside!
We also renewed some very old lead work to give the roof another lease of life!

Here we go!
So the previous project wasn’t our norm as it was finishing off a roof where a customer had been let down for nearly a year! Leaving them with not just half a job but a lot of problems too.
Well, C&C Roofing once again put faith back into the roofing name and carried out some top-quality work!
