Yesterday we were delighted to welcome Farm Families Health Checks to our Head Office in Pomeroy. 🌾
This fantastic initiative, established by the Public Health Agency and Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, provides valuable physical and mental health and wellbeing screenings for individuals within the farming community.
As a business rooted in a rural community, many of our office and site staff come from farming backgrounds. Programmes like this are incredibly important in helping people stay on top of their health and wellbeing — something that is of the utmost importance to everyone at PK Murphy.

GROUNDS WORKERS REQUIRED – Lisburn Contract 🌿

We are recruiting Grounds Workers to carry out a wide range of external maintenance and associated works across our Lisburn & Castlereagh area.

🛠 Key Duties Include:

Grounds & Landscaping Works
Grass cutting, strimming, edging and general garden maintenance
Hedge trimming, shrub pruning and vegetation control
W**d control
Litter picking and removal of debris from communal areas and property clear‑outs
Tree & Vegetation Works
Tree line maintenance including low‑level pruning and branch removal
Cutting small trees and carrying out stump removal
General Construction / External Works
Maintaining and building pathways, kerbs, gullies and hardstanding areas
Fencing works
Digging works (manual and/or mechanical)
Chimney works (where required)
Reporting & Administration
Updating PDA devices with accurate completion notes and job details

✅ What We’re Looking For
Reliable and hardworking individuals
Ability to carry out physical outdoor work
Willingness to follow health & safety procedures
Experience desirable but not essential – training can be provided

📍 Locations: Lisburn
🕒 Hours: Full‑time
