We recently completed a flat-roof leak repair for a customer, addressing ponding water by installing a small drainage fall and re-covering with EPDM. The roof had been holding water, which contributed to the leak, and the job was finished on a very hot day 🤣, but our team delivered a leak-free, neatly finished roof.

Transforming Spaces with MSP Home Specialist: Velux Window Installation in a Loft

We’re excited to share one of our jobs where our team at MSP Home Specialist installed new Velux windows in a customer's loft space, bringing in natural light and enhancing the overall functionality of the area.

On day one, we carefully built the framework to ensure the Velux window would sit perfectly in the loft opening. After the framework was in place, we created the precise opening for the window on the gable side, making sure it was properly sized and prepared for installation. We then installed the first window, ensuring it was secure and properly sealed.

Following this, we completed the installation of a second Velux window on the rear elevation, further increasing natural light and ventilation in the loft space. Throughout the process, we paid close attention to insulation, weatherproofing, and achieving a seamless fit for both windows.

The new Velux windows not only brighten up the loft but also improve ventilation, making it a more comfortable and usable space for our customer.

🌟 Final Reveal! 🌟

We’re super excited to share the amazing transformation of this outdoor space! Swipe through the pictures to see the difference we’ve made:

First, we gave everything a fresh splash of bright, happy colours. The new multi-coloured fence really brightens up the garden and makes it so inviting.

We also fixed the broken arch, put it back in place, and gave it a fresh white coat of paint. And Phil pulled out his tools and skills to hand carve different fruit and vegetables out of wood — a surprise for the children and staff! It’s such a lovely feature for the little explorers to enjoy. Who took a bite of the apple? 🍎🤔🤣

The space is now full of colour, fun, and perfect for outdoor play and learning.

We love creating happy, inspiring spaces for the little ones. Hope you love the transformation as much as we do! 😊🌈

And a huge shoutout to our eldest, who was off school at the time and helped loads — your support made all the difference!

🌟 The Adventure Continues! 🌟

We’re back with more exciting news about the nursery’s outdoor transformation! 🚧✨

Phil fixed a few of the vegetable boxes, which were rotting, giving them a new lease of life. The walls received a fresh coat of Cornish cream paint, brightening up the space, and the fences were stripped back with a hot gun, as they had too many layers of gloss paint previously. After that, a white undercoat was applied to the fences to prepare them for the next stage.

Now that the vegetable garden is looking great, we’re moving on to the next stage. We can’t wait for the children to explore and enjoy their refreshed outdoor space! 😊🌈

🌟 Big Outdoor Makeover! 🌟

Our team was asked to give a local nursery’s outdoor space a total refresh, and wow, what a difference! 🎨✨

We kicked things off by prepping all the walls — scraping off flaky paint and making everything nice and smooth. Danielle also gave the concrete flags in the vegetable garden a good jet wash, making them look fresh and tidy.

Check out the before pictures and see the amazing transformation! The best part? The children’s reactions were priceless — they shouted “Wow!” just after seeing the fence, and that was before they saw the whole new outdoor wonderland! 🌈🎉

Hey everyone, Danielle here!

You’ve probably noticed we’ve been pretty quiet on socials lately, so I just want to give you a quick update. Most of you know I’ve taken on a whole new role within the team — I’m still answering messages and sorting your quotes, but I’ve also become second woman 😂

Phil says I’m super keen, will put my hand to anything he asks, and I’m determined 😂 I am trying really hard to keep things ticking along. Honestly, I’m loving it. It’s a bit of a change, but I’m really enjoying the challenge and trying to make sure you still get the best service.
