Not every hazard is dramatic. Some are just a car park with no barrier where there should be one.

An unprotected area next to building services was being used for bin storage with nothing to prevent impact damage. Think Worksafe supplied, installed and certified 3.3 metres of galvanised twin-rail guardrail.

The client asked for ladder hoops and a guardrail. The free site survey found something worse.

The external ladder at this Norwich commercial building sat over a pitched slate roof, every time someone used it, they were stepping onto fragile slates. Slip risk. Breakage risk. Neither acceptable.

The solution? A fabricated platform suspended over the roof entirely, so users never touch the slates. Plus fall arrest on the internal ladder (no room for hoops), and a new guardrail with self-closing gate at the hatch.

One survey. Three problems fixed. Fully compliant.
