You've probably heard of Virtual Darts, but we've been working with to bring you Virtual Archery! We love projects that we can get our teeth into and this was certainly that. From design, to prototyping, to producing custom electronics and finally, fabricating a lightweight, durable (and of course, stylish) bow

Virtual Archery makes its debut at IAAPA Expo Europe in London from the 22nd -24th September, if you're there, let us know what you think!

If not friend, why friend shaped?

It’s not usually advised to pet any polar bears you happen to come across but luckily for visitors to Hull Maritime Museum you can! Not Eric the polar bear in the back, but the tactile sculptures that sit in front of him.

Working alongside Hull Maritime Museum our team created a number of inclusive interactive exhibits for a wide range of accessibility needs, and as the summer holidays draw to a close we can highly recommend taking a trip out to this wonderful museum and explore Hull’s maritime heritage

Did you know that a Narwhals tusk is actually a canine tooth? They're predominately found in males and the male tusk is larger, so we know who is using all the toothpaste 😉

These lovely sculptures are in Hull Maritime go and give them a visit and have some fun learning all about Hull's rich maritime heritage

This replica of the PS Comet has been our biggest project to date, and (pardon the pun) was all hands-on-deck to get it designed, built, transported from our workshop in Sheffield and installed in its new home in Port Glasgow.
We are incredibly proud of all the hard work from every member of our team that went into executing this massive project

We hope you enjoy seeing the process, from its early skeletal beginnings to becoming a full 1:1 replica steam boat

What a great project to show what the amazing team can do.

🚢 A New Chapter for the PS Comet

Our team have been working tirelessly with Inverclyde Council for months, designing, engineering and fabricating, alongside weeks of installing, and we’re proud to unveil the new full scale PS Comet Mode in Port Glasgow.

The original PS Comet, launched in 1812, is widely recognised as Europe's first commercially successful steam-powered passenger vessel and played a key role in the development of maritime transport on the River Clyde.

Materials: Stainless Steel, Accoya and Tricoya

What an honour it has been to work with team at Inverclyde to produce the amazing memorial to the Comet

Today is International Women's Day — a moment to recognise the women who help shape the museum and exhibition sector. From early concept design and storytelling to engineering, fabrication and installation, women play a vital role in creating the experiences that bring cultural spaces to life.

Across the sector, women contribute at every stage of a project:
Designing engaging visitor experiences
Solving complex engineering and fabrication challenges
Managing projects from concept through installation
Helping museums tell powerful stories

Their creativity, expertise and leadership continue to shape the future of cultural spaces.
We’re proud to celebrate the women across our team and throughout the wider museum and exhibition industry. Their work spans design, making, project delivery and visitor experience — bringing creativity, technical skill and thoughtful problem-solving to every stage of a project.

Today is a chance to recognise those contributions, reflect on the progress being made across the sector, and continue supporting opportunities for women in design, engineering and fabrication.
