♦️CELEBRATING•APPRENTICES♦️

♦️As thousands of young people sit their GCSEs and consider their next steps, we'd like to recognise two valued members of the PCD Build team, Rhys and Connor 👏➡️

♦️Apprenticeships are about more than learning a trade. They help build confidence, professionalism and a strong work ethic. Our advice to any young person considering this route is simple: be willing to learn, take pride in your work, respect every opportunity and remember that every day is a chance to improve. Skills can be taught, attitude cannot.

♦️A huge thank you to Rhys and Connor for their hard work and commitment. Rhys is now awaiting his End Point Assessment, whilst Connor is at the beginning of his own journey. Both have been a credit to themselves, their families and our company, consistently showing the attitude, respect and willingness to learn that will serve them well throughout their careers. There are many routes to success, and apprenticeships remain one of the best ways to earn, learn and build a rewarding career.

♦️These three-bedroom homes in Southampton were built on land that had previously been used for a local car dealership and our team had to overcome a number of challenges to ensure the land was ready for residential homes, including diverting a main sewer 🏗️ Featuring energy-efficient air source heat pumps and fully landscaped gardens, it's incredible to compare the finished result to the initial architect's design render. This project is a great example of how our team can successfully manage and deliver large scale projects and we're incredibly proud of the results! 💪

♦️For this project we have been converting this existing car port into an enclosed garage and gym and the team have already made excellent progress 👌 We came in at the concept stage to provide drawings, gain planning permission and manage the process through to completion, making everything as smooth as possible for our client. To ensure the final appearance complements the main property, we sourced Douglas Fir cladding to finish the externals. With a lot of the hard work already completed, we're not far away from finishing and look forward to sharing the finished photos soon 🤩💪

♦️Swipe to see this incredible transformation from one of our projects in Southampton📍➡️

♦️This project included an extension and reconfiguration of the existing property, alongside landscaping works to upgrade the rear garden🌱 The external space now features fresh turfing and carefully chosen bricks that tie in with the existing brickwork. The bifold doors create a fantastic connection through to the garden as well as adding a striking visual feature. This 6-month project has completely changed the feel of the home, with extensive internal works also completed including a new kitchen and central heating system. Follow along to see more 👀

♦️Swipe across to see the progress we've been making on this Dorset extension project 👀➡️

♦️The client originally came to us through the Buy With Confidence scheme after seeing our reviews, and we worked closely with them to turn their ideas into a full design and build project 🤝 The aim was to make this new extension feel like it had always been part of the home, with matching render, roof tiles, brickwork and gable end details helping everything tie in naturally.

♦️As part of the works, we also resolved some drainage issues by installing new soakaways and added two electric Velux windows to bring plenty of natural light into the new space ☀️ Decorating is now underway and we’re looking forward to sharing the finished photos soon 🙌

♦️Whilst we usually specialise in residential projects, it's been a pleasure working with on the refurbishment of their stunning beauty salon in Hampshire📍Take a look at the start of the project here ➡️

♦️To help celebrate their 20th anniversary, the salon's owners, Laura and Mel, asked our team to help out with the barn's refit. This included the reconfiguration of some windows and doors to improve functionality, an update to the internals and some landscaping works too. With their team saying that, "the whole thing ran smoothly", it has been a great project to be a part of. 🤝

Congratulations to the players, coaches and everyone involved. Loads of skill, determination and teamwork on display but also respect for the opposition and referee despite the important occasion. We are very proud to be involved and it was a privilege to see them lift the trophy. I’m sure there will be many more to follow.

🔴 ⚽️ U9 Storm were away to Petersfield Sparks today, an away trip up the A3 for the travelling fans.

An early goal from Lottie gave us a nice start and both goalies made some fantastic saves, putting on keeping clinics (spoiler alert, but both keepers won opposition player of the game).

Emily and Alice both got well worked goals before HT. In the 2H, Emily got another goal, with Amelia scoring her first goal for us as well as Millie scoring with the last kick of the game.

Some well taken goals by Petersfield made it a well contested match as both teams played some good football!

Parents player of the game was Alice
Coaches player of the game was Millie

Opposition player of the game was Katie.
