As the brickwork finishes on one extension, another one begins! 🧱

We’ve been working at this beautiful farm out in Cheshire, where plans are underway to extend the kitchen. The brickwork is now starting to take shape, and we’re looking forward to seeing this one come together.

Another project underway, and plenty more to come! 👌

Here’s a couple of smaller jobs we’ve recently completed. 🧱

First up, this chimney breast over in Cheadle was letting in damp and was badly cracked, so it was in need of some attention. We’ve carried out a full repoint and completely re-capped the top to help keep the elements out and give it a new lease of life.

We’ve also been over in Bredbury, completing an internal chimney breast rake-out and repoint, bringing this fireplace back to life. 😍

Another couple of jobs completed and another two happy customers!

🏡 Brickwork complete in Bredbury! 🧱

Another extension completed for our friends at Dynamix Design and Build.

Just a one-week turnaround to get all the brickwork completed on this extension over in Bredbury! 💪 The brickwork is now finished and ready for the roof to go on.

A great effort from the team to get this one over the line and keep the project moving forward. 👏

As the colder months start to set in, now’s the perfect time to get those houses in shape before the winter weather arrives. 🌧️

We’ve just completed a full front repoint using lime mortar over in Hale Barns. Not only does lime repointing help protect your property from the elements while allowing the brickwork to breathe, but it’s also given the house a completely fresh look! 👌

🧱 Another extension in Bredbury! 🧱

Here’s another extension we’re working on in Bredbury for our friends at Dynamix Design & Build.

The brickwork is now up to DPC and ready for the superstructure to begin. Another job progressing nicely, and we’re looking forward to seeing this one take shape! 👌

It’s been a week of repairs and alterations for us this week, over in Bramhall, after some really poor workmanship.

There was blockwork on the corner of this garage that hadn’t been tied in properly and was already showing signs of cracking. We’ve taken the whole corner section down and rebuilt it, properly tying the brickwork in to give it the strength and stability it needs. 🧱

We’ve also been over in Bredbury fitting a new steel lintel as we get started on another project.

Another couple of jobs put right and made solid again. If you’ve got any building work that needs repairing or altering, don’t hesitate to get in touch. 😊🧱

We’ve been back out in the local community of Romiley this week, completing another below-DPC brickwork repair.

This is something we’re seeing more and more regularly, especially as the colder, wetter months set in. The weather can cause bricks below the damp-proof course to perish, crack and break down over time.

We’ve replaced all the damaged and perished bricks and used solid engineering bricks to give the repair a much stronger and more durable finish.

Not only has this improved the structure of the property, but it’s also made a huge difference to the overall appearance. 🧱

Here’s a couple of the smaller jobs we’ve recently completed. 🧱

First, a new garden wall in Stockport after the old wall had collapsed. We removed the damaged brickwork and rebuilt it, leaving it solid and back in shape.

We’ve also been over in Sale installing a new steel lintel. The existing brickwork arch had started to fall forward due to not being properly supported, so we installed the steel to provide the support needed and make it safe and secure.

Two smaller jobs, but both important repairs to keep the properties safe and structurally sound.

Despite the poor weather this week, we’ve still managed to get a few jobs over the line! 💪🧱

We’ve been over in Sale building some new steps for this customer. At the moment they’re using pallets to get in and out, so it was great to get the brickwork completed and ready for the flagging to begin. 👌

We’ve also been rebuilding this full bay window after the original brickwork had started to crack and fall forward. It’s now back in shape and, most importantly, solid and secure again. 🧱💪

Two More Garden Walls in Romiley 🧱

Two more garden walls completed locally here in Romiley.

We removed all the hedges and took down the old walls, which had become unstable and were starting to fall down. The customer wanted to keep that traditional, older character, so we used reclaimed bricks to give the walls a beautiful, aged look.

I’d also like to say a personal thank you to everyone in the Romiley community for the continued support you’ve shown to me and the business. It genuinely means a lot knowing we’re doing a good job right here in our own community.
