🌟 Employee of the Month – Congratulations, Shane! 🌟

A huge congratulations to Shane, our Employee of the Month!

Since joining Mid Devon Glass in August 2023, Shane has consistently demonstrated an incredible willingness to learn and develop. Starting on our sealed unit manufacturing line, he quickly mastered the processes needed to produce the high-quality units we're proud to supply.

Driven by his enthusiasm to expand his skills, Shane progressed onto both our cutting and toughening lines before moving into our glass processing department, where he has spent the last eight months refining his expertise. Today, he's even sharing that knowledge by helping to train another member of the team.

This month, Shane has gone above and beyond, stepping into different roles across the factory to support the team, cover holidays, and keep production running smoothly wherever he was needed.

⭐ Going the extra mile is what it's all about.

Receiving reviews like this reminds us why we do what we do. After over 30 years of working with Mid Devon Glass, this customer took the time to recognise not only the quality of our products and our experienced team, but also the dedication of our General Manager, Michael. Despite the extreme heat, Michael made sure the factory opened as usual, had the customer's units ready for collection, and even took the time to get in touch to keep everything running smoothly. It's these moments of commitment and customer care that make all the difference.

“I have used Mid Devon Glass over a 30 year period. They produce good quality double glazed units in various specification and other architectural glass too. It's really positive to have an actual glass unit manufacturer based in Mid Devon.

It works really well because if I need to collect a double glazed unit they are on the commute or not that far if I need to send someone to collect some glass. Their factory in Tiverton is impressive and modern with a good team of highly experienced people.

What encouraged me to write this review is that the General Manager, Michael, made sure the factory was open early as usual, despite the very high heat levels. He made sure my units were picked out and ready. He went above and beyond to contact me despite having a difficult day ahead of him.”
