This one is finally over the finish line, and what a slog it turned out to be. But the results speak for themselves!
I first went to view this project back in January, before the summer house was even built, and straight away knew it was going to be hard work. After speaking with the customers, I put the vision down on paper. They put their trust in me — and this is what we created.
The project consisted of bringing in over 50 tonne of MOT to build the ground levels up, followed by laying 600x600 Pietra Beige porcelain imported straight from Spain. We framed the summer house with Anthracite edging planks and installed an ACO drain along the property to act as a splashback and improve drainage.
To deal with the different ground heights, we created a sleeper retaining wall with a step separation, alongside building two porcelain steps leading into the property.
To finish it all off, we added English Rose gravel — the colour combination against the porcelain and anthracite tones looks absolutely unreal.
