Our training teams cover the North and South and are experts in looking after skillful candidates, who may have some obstacles in classroom learning.
Here's some excellent feedback from a great candidate, who was very successful in passing the course with flying colours, with help from our team in Sudbury's NCA Training Centre.
"I recently completed my HETAS course at Specflues National Chimney Academy, and I honestly couldnโt have done it without the support of the instructors Martin & David.
As someone with dyslexia, I often find classroom environments challenging โ especially when thereโs a lot of written information and technical detail involved.
But from day one both instructors went out of their way to make the course accessible for me. They explained things clearly, gave me the time I needed to process the material and made sure I never felt left behind.
The way they broke down complex regulations and installation techniques into practical, hands-on learning really worked for me. Their patience, encouragement and teaching style made a huge difference to my confidence โ not just passing the course, but believing I could succeed in this trade."
Great work from all involved.
