Three teams. Four battles. Lots of fun. 🤖💥

Yesterday’s Robot Experience was an absolute blast, with some incredible driving, plenty of competitive banter, a pit full of activity, and lots of smiles all round.

A big thank you to Tommy, who joined us for his school work experience. He was a huge help throughout the day and stayed afterwards to help tidy up and work on the robots. Great job!

🚨 We’re Recruiting – Join Team Wolfpack! 🐺🤖

Extreme Robots is growing, so is the fleet of robots and with more robots than ever, we’re looking for new people to join Team Wolfpack!

We’re recruiting for:
🔧 Pit Crew – Help prepare, maintain and repair our robots throughout the weekend, getting them ready for battle.
🏗️ Arena Build Crew – Help build and dismantle our battle arena, with the opportunity to double up as part of the pit crew during the event.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get behind the scenes at the UK’s biggest live robot combat show. You’ll work alongside the team, meet the robot builders, and experience the action from the heart of the event.

No previous experience is needed—just enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to get stuck in. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.

If you’ve ever watched Extreme Robots and thought, “I’d love to be part of that,” this is your chance.

Everything is packed ready for Extreme Robots this weekend so thought I’d have a little play with Gripper as it’s been put on the back burner due to other work . Just munched its way through 5mm mild steel and 3mm Raex. Signs are good this is going to be pretty nasty, that’s the first proper test going through something hard even though the jaws aren’t sharp yet. Although I’ve had a change of tact with the overall design so this version won’t probably get used now as I want to rebuild it a slightly different shape and need to save a massive amount of weight.
