Densil is ready for the weekend! It's looking warm and dry according to the Met Office Weather report 🌤 Perfect weather for a train ride and a visit to Cassiobury Park 😎

Around the railway in 30 seconds!

We needed to turn Chiltern Shuttle's tender round the other day; although easiest to just turn it on the turntable we had a look and thought "you could film an interesting video if you put a camera in the footwell"...

So here is a track level view of a trip around most of the railway. We have sped it up to just 30 seconds, but don't worry, our trains will still take around 6 minutes to go around when you visit!

Hello June! We're open every weekend this month, a great time to visit Cassiobury Park and come for a train ride 🚂

🕙 Trains will be running 11am-5pm on Saturday's and Sunday's.

🎟 Fare £3 per person, under 2's ride free
🎫 Get a 10 ride ticket for £25

Happy Sunday! It might be the end of the half term but there's plenty of time for a train ride today 🚂 Trains are running 11am-5pm, and our steam engine Bluebell will be joining us this afternoon from around 2pm 💙 Densil and Conway Castle will be in charge until then!

You'll find us back over on Platform 1 today, which is the same side as the playground, as the temperature is going to be bit cooler 😎

Happy Wednesday! We're half way through the May half-term 📆

We thought this was a good opportunity to remind all of our passengers and visitors to please read and respect our safety rules.

You'll find the big red safety signs at the entrance gates and along the platforms. We also have the yellow signs at the ends of all of the coaches!

⚠️ Safety on any railway is incredibly important and the rules are there to keep everyone safe! We are very similar to any big railway, just because our trains are a bit smaller, they are not a toy and it doesn't mean you can't get hurt or have an accident.

So please help make sure everyone is safe by following the safety rules, this includes adults, children and dogs!

We popped over this morning to join the celebration of 40 years since the Vanstones Woodland Railway opened. Located at the Vanstones Park Garden Centre near Stevenage, there have been close links between the WMR and VWR since it opened.
