We never said it was completely "service free"

We say "service free for 5 years"...

We'll own that difference, because it's the whole point.

"Service free" with no timeframe is a marketing line.

"Service free for 5 years" is a commitment we're prepared to put a number on.

One of those you can hold a supplier to, the other you can't.

LEIBINGER can make that claim in the first place, the ink system can be completely sealed, so there's limited solvent evaporation.

The printhead and core components are built to run without intervention for years, not months.

Saying "service free" costs nothing. Building a printer that actually earns that claim, for a defined period, with a manufacturer standing behind it...that's the harder version. That's the one we sell.

If a supplier says "service free" or "maintenance free" with no timeframe attached, it's worth asking them why they left it off😉

"Odd" packaging? Not a problem here👋

Our in-house built feeders are made to code flatform packaging, even those that are more awkward that others...

Different shapes like skillets, or even those with "windows" can be difficult, but we've certainly cracked the code here.

A coding and marking system is a small part of a production line, cost-wise.

But if it fails, the whole line can stop, because nothing legally leaves the factory without a date or batch code on it.

One saying we wish we could shout from the rooftops:

"The cheapest machine on the line is often the one with the power to shut the entire thing down"✅️

Because it's true, the upfront cost may be cheaper, but products not going out the door, service visits and time wasted, can cost a lot more than a piece of kit you may think is "too expensive"

Reliability isn't a feature here, it's the entire product.

And nobody wants to lose out on money👀

So why should you settle for that?

Best before dates and batch codes aren't there for decoration...

They're there because food safety, traceability, and recall management depend on them.

If something goes wrong with a product on shelves, a batch code is often the only thing standing between "quick, targeted recall" and "recall everything, panic included."🫨

A smudged, or misplaced print can complicate a recall. meaning some people could be at risk if it has not been noticed.
