Was nice to be asked to go back and just add the finishing touches to a chimney breast we removed and re built recently

Renovating this summer? The cheapest time you will ever have to upgrade insulation, draught-proofing and ventilation is now, while the walls are off and the floors are up. Retrofitting the same work later usually costs 3-5x more. The right order is fabric first, then ventilation, then heating. Insulation without ventilation creates damp.
