Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Beavers to Innovia Films for an evening focused on helping them complete their Digital Maker Badge.
The team at Innovia organised three interactive activities; Designing their own bank notes, a barcode scanning treasure hunt and creating their own Access ID badges, giving the Beavers the opportunity to learn more about technology in a fun and hands-on way. It was fantastic to see how engaged, enthusiastic and confident they were throughout the evening.
The Beavers were a real credit to both their parents and Scout leaders — polite, well behaved, and eager to get involved in every activity. ⭐
A huge thank you to the Beavers for visiting us, to the Deli Station Express - Wigton for the pizzas and buffet that kept everyone fueled for the evening, and to our brilliant staff volunteers who stayed after work to support and run the activities. 🎉
Supporting opportunities for young people within our community is something we’re proud to be part of, and it was great to see so much enthusiasm for technology and teamwork throughout the night. 🩵
