Designed for installation and maintenance contractors, the MTE2-NK provides a practical solution for operation function testing of infrared spot-type flame detectors.

📢 Introducing the new Nittan EV-OP2 Output Module!
The new EV-OP2 features a 240 Vac, 5 Amp rated relay and is designed for use with our Evolution Analogue Addressable system.
It can be used to control equipment such as dampers and extractors for ventilation and smoke control systems, with monitored relay contacts and LED indication for Polling, Output Active and Fault.
Designed to fit standard UK 2 Gang electrical enclosures, with both surface and flush mount options.

→Provide quotes to customers for upcoming projects, answer customer queries, contact businesses that may be interested in our products, and develop marketing ideas to promote our business and products.

🔹What do you enjoy most about your work?
→I enjoy the social aspect of working in sales, meeting with customers and visiting new places.

→Everyone at the company is very welcoming and I always feel I can ask for help if needed.

→Friendly, reliable and proactive

This week, our team is attending the NFPA Conference & Expo 2026 in Las Vegas, one of the largest events in the fire protection industry.

Although we're not exhibiting, it's a great opportunity to meet with customers, partners, and industry professionals from around the world, discuss emerging trends, and better understand the challenges facing the industry.

Events like NFPA provide valuable insights that help us continue developing solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Meet the Team - Barry Sargent

🔹What is your role at Nittan Europe?
→Product Manager, looking after everything product related including Certification.

🔹How long have you been with the company?
→19 Years

🔹What does your role involve on a day-to-day basis?
→Creating approval and marketing documentation, liaising with all Nittan departments and external Certification authorities, to ensure everything is in place to support our products.

🔹What do you enjoy most about your work?
→The variation in the work and the people I work with both internally and externally.

🔹What makes Nittan Europe a great place to work?
→It a small to medium size business, with great colleagues and clients.

🔹How would you describe the team?
→Although small, Team Nittan is highly motivated and dedicated.

🔹One fun fact about you
→I owned my 1970s classic car for 37 years and enjoy racing it and often repairing it in the aftermath.

At Nittan Europe, we believe that being a responsible manufacturer means contributing not only through the products we make, but also through the communities in which we operate.

Recently, members of our team took part in a local clean-up activity around our facility. It was rewarding to see the area looking cleaner afterwards and to play a small part in maintaining a pleasant environment for our neighbours and colleagues.

We were also grateful to receive support from a local resident who joined the effort. Their participation made the activity even more meaningful and demonstrated the positive impact that can be achieved when businesses and communities work together.

We look forward to continuing these activities and making a positive contribution to our local area in the future.

Meet the Team - Alyss Watts

In this series, we’re introducing the individuals behind our work and sharing a glimpse into life at Nittan Europe.

🔹What is your role at Nittan Europe?
→Sales Administrator

🔹How long have you been with the company?
→10 months – a year in June.

🔹What does your role involve on a day-to-day basis?
→I am responsible for manging the customer enquiries and supporting the full sales cycle. Duties include preparing and issuing quotes, processing orders, generating invoices, coordinating customer returns and liaising with logistics. Handling inbound calls and providing excellent customer service, as well as manging export orders and ensuring all documentation and processes are completed efficiently.

🔹What do you enjoy most about your work?
→I enjoy how varied the role is – from speaking with customers to processing orders, there’s always something to keep me busy. I also love the satisfaction of keeping everything organized and running smoothly.

🔹What makes Nittan Europe a great place to work?
→A great mix of teamwork, independence and variety in the role.

🔹How would you describe the team?
→Knowledgeable, and supportive.

🔹One fun fact about you
→I have a Bachelor’s degree in Science!

We’re already well into the new financial year, but we wanted to take a moment to look back at a great team event at Nittan Europe.

We came together to celebrate our FY2025 achievements, recognise contributions across the team, and set our direction for 2026—all over a team lunch.

It was a great opportunity to reflect on what we’ve accomplished and spend time together as a team.

Congratulations to everyone who was recognised, and a special thank you to Tony Marsh for an incredible 15 years of service 👏
