A late one for us yesterday — the callout was for “the heating won’t switch off.”

After attending the property, we quickly diagnosed a fault with the 3-port valve. Once the system was drained down, we supplied and installed a brand new valve to get everything back working correctly again. 🔧🔥

While the system was down, the customer also asked us to fit a new Hive programmer, allowing them to monitor and control their heating remotely from their phone for added convenience and efficiency. 📱🏠

Another happy customer and heating system back up and running

After providing advice to a commercial client regarding a leaking condensate pipe picked up on an annual boiler service we were invited back to remedy the issue.

Keeping our standards high, walking away from this service cupboard was not an option without leaving the job site better than we found it.

It took less than 5 minutes to demonstrate care, cleanliness and hopefully professionalism,

All made worth while by a phone call on the way home saying thank you and would we be interested in servicing another appliance at another property for us. 💪

Radiator not getting hot……. After attempting to rebalance this system and flushing there was no other option but to change the radiator we swapped the very old imperial radiator to a slightly smaller 2000 x 600 using extension piece as the pipes were coming up through a solid floor,

the lounge is a nicer place to be now………of course inhibitor was added and visual checks on the gas appliances was carried out.

🔥🔥🔥🔥 go go go, on to the next job. 💪

Emergency call out attended this evening,

Attended site to find water steadily dripping through the ceiling in the downstairs kitchen.

After a short investigation we arrived at the airing cupboard to find the pump valve leaking,

Protect work area ✅
Complete risk assessment ✅
Discuss method with client ✅
Drain system ✅
Remove pump and valve✅
Supply and replace new pump valves ✅
Clean pump ✅
Add inhibitor ✅
Recommission system ✅
Carry out checks ✅
Hand back over to customer and reassure ✅

3rd set of engineers to visit and diagnose issue:

New pressure relief valve ❌
New expansion vessel ❌

fortunately for our new client they found us. various tests carried out and we identified a blockage in the hose supplying the expansion vessel.

Expansion vessel hose replaced ✅

Visual inspection of appliance and system ✅

Re-commission system, flush appliance add cleaner/inhibitor to present re-occurring issues ✅

Go go go on to the next. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
