Recently completed re-roofing project in Heslington, York.
We’re proud to share the completion of this re-roofing project on a beautiful, traditional property located within a conservation area. In keeping with planning requirements and the character of the building, the roof was replaced on a like-for-like basis, with each slate and ridge tile carefully removed, sorted, and reinstated in its original position.
The scope of works also included upgrading the roof space insulation, as well as the replacement of three existing roof lights to the rear of the property.
Acting as Principal Contractor, JLR Roofing coordinated the project from start to finish, including associated decorative works carried out in collaboration with York-based painters and decorators, Oliver Interiors.
A fantastic example of preserving traditional craftsmanship while improving performance and longevity.
