【威裕環球為將軍澳大型商場公眾空間完成改建工程】
#威裕環球 近日完成將軍澳一個大型商場的 #公眾空間改建工程，項目涵蓋男女洗手間各一個、兩個無障礙洗手間以及走廊空間升級。項目翻新後的洗手間需配合高端商場的定位，無論設計、物料選用及空間佈局，均需達同業中的高水平標準。
設計上，團隊以簡約優雅及實用為主，與商場原有風格保持一致。洗手間運用雲石等不同類型的石材作為改建洗手間的主要用料，以雲石花紋及光線配搭出具層次感的空間效果，提升整體環境同時加強空間的明亮感與舒適度。除視覺效果外，設計亦著重實際使用體驗，例如將廁格以輕微斜向獨立排列，方便使用者掌握空置情況。另外，每個洗手盤都清晰標示洗手液及抹手紙位置，不但為使用者帶來便利，亦有助縮短等候時間。
是次項目為商場洗手間在成立20年後首次進行改建，項目期間亦面對實際施工挑戰。由於洗手間地下的渠道位置並無相關記錄，需要在90日工期內重新勘察及確定相關渠管佈局，加上任何有關渠務的工序需安排於非營業時間進行，對工程整體規劃及時間管理要求較高。團隊透過提前作出施工安排，確保每項工序能在指定時段內完成，避免延誤。

BPS Global completed the Alteration and Addition (A&A) Works for the upgrade of public areas at a shopping mall in Tseung Kwan O. The project covered male, female, and two accessible washrooms along with corridor improvements. In line with the client’s requirements, the design, materials, and layout were upgraded to match the mall’s position as a key high-end retail destination.
The washroom’s design focused on simplicity, practicality and consistency with the mall’s existing style. Stone finishes, including marble, were used to elevate the overall specification, while lighting was refined to create a brighter and more welcoming space. Usability was also a key consideration. For example, independent toilet cubicles were arranged at a slight angle so users could easily see availability. Clear signage for soap and paper towels was provided at wash basins to reduce waiting time.
This was the first major washroom upgrade since the mall opened over 20 years ago, and the project involved several challenges. There were no complete records of the underground drainage system. The team had to carry out site checks and confirm pipe positions within the 90-day programme. In addition, drainage works were restricted to non-operating hours, which required detailed advance programming. The team managed the schedule closely to ensure all works were completed on time.
