🏗️ 43 new apartments for Cork

Clancy is delivering Westside Court on the Model Farm Road — a residential development of 17 one-bed and 26 two-bed homes close to Munster Technological University.

Remagin is supplying the LGSF structure.

All of our panels are manufactured in Cahir, County Tipperary, and delivered to site ready to install. Facility production means every panel is made to the same tolerance, and site assembly moves at a pace that traditional framing can’t match.

Speed and consistency are just two of the benefits of using offsite manufacture and other .

🎉 Tools down early in Cahir today

We finished up in the facility ahead of time for a company BBQ and prize giving — a chance to say thank you properly to the team behind a strong year so far.

The pipeline ahead points to a busy rest of the year… we still have capacity, though — so if you’re a project owner looking at an LGSF solution, talk to us!

Every panel that leaves Cahir starts with this hardworking team, and it’s great to have the opportunity to celebrate together 🙌

Enjoy the weekend

🏗️ Coming to the final stages of our latest healthcare build…

Remagin is adding a 4th and final floor to a hospital extension — over three previously constructed floors, two of which are already live and treating patients.

Building above an occupied, operational hospital brings a different set of constraints than a standard site: noise, vibration, access routes and programme sequencing all have to be managed without disrupting patient care.

It’s a good example of the coordination offsite construction and MMC enables when infrastructure has to grow around services that can’t pause.

📍Step inside our facility in Cahir, County Tipperary

In our latest walkthrough, Eamonn O'Dwyer takes us through some of the quality control steps and processes that go into every product made at Remagin by Etex — these checks underpin the performance and consistency of our finished product.

Quality isn't a final inspection for us; it's built in at every stage.

Our thanks to Eamonn and the wider production team for sharing the detail of the work that goes on behind the product.

🏆 Six All-Ireland titles in nine season!

Congratulations to John Kiely and the Limerick hurlers on Sunday’s win over Galway at Croke Park — a victory that caps a season already carrying National League and Munster honours.

What stood out afterwards was where Kiely directed the credit: to Paul Kinnerk, Caroline Currid, Adrien O’Brien and the backroom team, and above all to the players themselves. His word for them was “indomitable” — and he put their identity down to how hard they work, in training and in matches, and their commitment to doing the right thing for the group.
Consistency at that level doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built on standards, preparation and people pulling in the same direction — year after year!

Well done to all involved👏

🏗️Six storeys of light gauge steel framing rising above a ground floor transfer structure

This hotel, currently under construction, is being delivered by Remagin — from the transfer level up through all six storeys of light gauge steel frame.

Offsite manufacture from our production facility in Cahir, County Tipperary keeps a project of this scale moving — panels arrive ready to install, floor by floor.

We're proud to share that Remagin Ireland by Etex has joined the Construction Industry Federation(CIF)

It's a natural step for us — and a reflection of where the industry is heading.

The gap between traditional building and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) is narrowing fast. On the ground, most sites now embrace some element of offsite or industrialised construction.

It's no longer a question of if, but how much.

We're delighted to be part of CIF as we keep working alongside project owners and main contractors to close that gap further — delivering faster, safer, more certain outcomes on site.

☀️ We usually share project updates from our time installing on site – but today we're enjoying the shade of the Remagin facility here in Cahir, County Tipperary.

We typically talk about offsite construction as a refuge from the weather Irish sites are most commonly subject to – the rain, the wind, and the short winter days that stop work and stretch programmes.

Move the work indoors, and the weather stops dictating the schedule.

This week makes the same argument from the opposite direction.

The heatwave moving across Europe — with red alerts in France, Italy and the UK, and Ireland under its own warning — is a worker welfare issue as much as a programme one. Heat stress, dehydration and reduced concentration are real hazards on an exposed site this week.

Inside our facility in Cahir, panels are manufactured out of the direct sun, on a predictable schedule. The same conditions that protect the work from rain in January protect the people doing it in June.

As we know in Ireland, you can't control the weather, but with offsite construction, we can control the manufacturing schedule to protect your project programme.

💡 Putting under-used plots back to work is one of the most direct routes to housing in places already served by transport and amenity.

Sites like the one below – a tight footprint in an urban setting, with plenty of neighbourhood obstacles to navigate — are where a 2D light gauge steel framing (LGSF) system can be a viability enabler.

The precision of offsite manufacture from our factory in Cahir, combined with the flexibility to adapt on site, means we can deliver on constrained city-centre plots that would be challenging with traditional methods.

Lighter loads, less site storage, faster er****on in confined conditions — exactly the constraints that write these plots off in the first place.
