It is with profound sadness that we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family, loved ones, and friends of our dear colleague and friend, Damian Sherlock. We also extend our deepest sympathies to his fiancée, Kym, as she faces this incredibly difficult and heartbreaking time. Damian will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Our thoughts are very much with Damian’s mum, Margaret; his sisters Lena and Jackie; his brothers David and Conor; and all of his nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. We also extend our deepest sympathy to Kym’s family, her parents Gerry and Gwen, her sister Jennifer and Andrew, her brother Mark and Leah, and her nephew Evan, as well as to Damian and Kym’s many friends who have shared so many special moments with them.
Damian was a person who brought his passions and personality to everything he loved. His love of soccer, his support for Virginia FC and his lifelong passion for Liverpool FC were a huge part of who he was. Those shared matches, conversations, celebrations and the memories made along the way will undoubtedly remain treasured by everyone who knew him.
Above all, we hope that Damian’s family, Kym and his close circle of friends can draw strength and comfort from the many wonderful memories they have of him, the laughter, friendship, kindness and moments that made Damian so special to those around him.
