RISEN #67 completes the Tour Italy 2026

After departing from Stavanger, Norway, on July 26 and making its way to Italy, RISEN #67 joined the Tour Italy 2026, organized by the Italian association Piloti di Classe.

Starting from Civrana on August 1, the tour offered an exceptional journey across Italy, combining aviation with the country’s landscapes, culture and hospitality, while flying in challenging summer conditions with temperatures reaching 42°C.

After completing the tour and returning home on August 10, RISEN #67 recorded an impressive total journey of 4,100 nautical miles.

From Norway to Italy and back, another great demonstration of the freedom and long-distance touring capabilities of the RISEN.

Across the Atlantic with RISEN #24

Following a complete 800-hour check at Porto Aviation Group, RISEN #24 equipped with the Rotax 912 iS is back in the air and has successfully reached the Azores after going over the Atlantic.

A remarkable journey of 762 NM, demonstrating once again the reliability and long-distance capabilities of the RISEN.

We are proud to see one of our aircraft continuing its journey around the world after 800 hours of flight.

Crossing the Atlantic with the checkered-wing RISEN

Congratulations to Otto and Tom on their impressive return flight from the USA to Europe aboard Otto’s RISEN SV 916iS, PH-OIJ.

Their journey took them through Canada, Greenland and Iceland, demonstrating once again the remarkable long-range capabilities and efficiency of the RISEN:

Thunder Bay – Charlottetown: 5h13
Charlottetown – Goose Bay: 2h51
Goose Bay – Qaqortoq: 4h23
Qaqortoq – Reykjavik: 4h36

Even while facing an average 20 kt headwind, the aircraft maintained up to 180 kt TAS at an average of 57% of power, with fuel consumption of approximately 19 L/h.

On the Goose Bay–Qaqortoq leg, only 97 litres of fuel were used.

An outstanding demonstration of the RISEN’s combination of speed, range and fuel efficiency on a demanding transatlantic journey.
