1. A New Hub for Miyakonojo In January 2026, KIRISHIMA GREENSHIP icoia opened on the grounds of the Kirishima Shuzo headquarters factory. It is a new kind of community space where local people can relax, meet up, and enjoy nature. A fresh era of community connection has officially arrived in Miyakonojo.
2. Built for the Community This project started back in 2017 when Starbucks staff visited Kirishima Shuzo for training. From those early conversations, a simple goal emerged: “Let’s build a place for the community.” This is more than just two companies working together. It is a shared mission to give back to the local area.
3. Where Nature and People Meet The facility features a Starbucks Coffee, a Kirishima Shuzo direct-operated shop, a botanical garden, a rooftop garden, and a wide lawn plaza. It is an open space where you can feel close to nature while spending time with friends and neighbors.
4. A "Ship" Moving Toward the Future The name “GREENSHIP” represents a ship carrying everyone’s hopes into the future. It is a place where people, nature, and the local community come together to start a new story.

『MIYAZAKI WAGYU × Japan’s Top 'Shochu' Experience - KIRISHIMA Fes』
KIRISHIMA SHUZO CO., LTD. held a consumer experience event in collaboration with “JAPAN Fes” at LAVAN MIDTOWN in New York City, USA, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, to share the appeal of shochu in America. This event offered a set of three drinks and food at a special price.Guests enjoyed two types of authentic sweet potato shochu mixed with soda: “Kuro Kirishima,” known for its rich sweetness and crisp finish, and “KIRISHIMA No.8,” characterized by its fresh fruit notes reminiscent of muscat and mandarin orange.

We were delighted that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the shochu and Japanese cuisine. We will continue our efforts to help more people in the U.S. discover and enjoy Kirishima shochu. We look forward to do “Kanpai!”with you all again someday!
