? Accurate geothermal exploration starts with understanding what lies beneath the surface. Through its Geothermal Resource Centre (GRC), GDC offers consultancy services in geophysical surveys and interpretation to support geothermal prospect identification, reservoir characterisation and well siting. These include Magnetotelluric (MT) and Transient Electromagnetic (TEM) surveys, ground electrode surveys and geophysical equipment hire.

The panel featured Prof. Abubakar Sadiq Maigari (TPDF, Nigeria), Mr. Nakib Ali Mhoumadi (Bureau Géologique des Comores), Dr. Peketsa Mangi (KenGen Kenya), Mr. John Gilliland (JRG, New Zealand) and Mr. Phil Harms (4th Resource), discussing investment, innovation and partnerships to unlock Africa’s geothermal potential.
